11th International Scientific Conference on Energy and Climate Change

The annual 11th International Conference for “Energy and Climate Change” will take place during 10-12 October 2018 in Athens at the Cultural Centre of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA) and at the amphitheater “Ioannis Drakopoulos” of the central building of the university.  The event is organized by the Energy Policy and Development Centre (KEPA) of NKUA. 
The Conference is under the aegis of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (BSEC), the United Nations Academic Impact and the General Secretariat for Research and Technology (GSRT).

The 7th International Conference for Energy and Climate Change organized by KEPA, at the premises of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, will take place from Wednesday, Oct. 8 to Friday, Oct. 10, 2014.

2nd International Training Seminar on Climate Change policies

Trends - Models - Reporting
23 - 26 September 2014
KEPA premises, within the University Campus

The 2nd international seminar, based on the successful hosting of the 1st International Training Seminar on Climate Change Policies in November 2013, has a duration of four days, aiming to offer a holistic approach to the problems which policy makers from countries with emerging economies face in fulfilling their needs for such policies. 
Trainees will get updated on international policy trends and the new market mechanisms (NAMAs), “green” economics and cost – benefit analysis, data collection, scenarios development, selection of policy mixtures with the use of LEAP, their assessment with the use of AMS and their application in a SWOT analysis.
